Tell a bit about yourself and the company
My role is Happiness Engineer and Zendesk administrator at Automattic Inc. Automattic is the developer of WordPress, WooCommerce, Jetpack and many other products that are meant to make the web a better place.
Publisher’s note: Automattic was founded in 2005 by Matt Mullenweg. As of today, the company employs 937 Automatticians living in countries all over the world.
In 2017 the company decided to shut down their office in San Francisco. Other than the products, Automattic is known for its approach to a decentralized workforce. All employees are distributed around the world. The company made it a good tradition to share pictures of their employees’ workplaces on social networks.

How did you like migrating data using Help Desk Migration service?
Overall, I found the process to be very fast and effortless. I enjoyed working with your support team. The customer service reps I talked to were very helpful during the entire process.
Why did you need to migrate customer service data?
As we welcomed a new product team — Prospress — into the company, we wanted to ensure all of us were using the same tools to provide a consistent support experience for our users.
Publisher’s note: Recently, Automattic acquired Prospress, a small startup that amongst other things developed WooCommerce Subscriptions, a recurring payment solution specifically designed for WooCommerce.
Any tips and tricks you can share with those who also need to migrate their data?
There’s nothing I’d share. It was just very easy with you and I didn’t have to do much.
