How to migrate groups from and to Help Scout
There’s something you need to know about how groups (teams in Help Scout) migrate from and to Help Scout.
When migrating from Help Scout
Let’s say you’re migrating from Help Scout to Zendesk. In Help Scout you have a ticket which is assigned to a team. This and other tickets like that will be assigned to the respective group in Zendesk. But they will have a default agent assigned to them.
If the ticket in Help Scout is assigned to an agent, then in Zendesk it will be assigned to the same agent BUT will belong to a default group in Zendesk.
When migrating to Help Scout
Currently, there is no method to automatically migrate groups to Help Scout. So you have to manually create them.
