How do I check the result of the Free Demo Migration?
Once the preview is complete, you will see the following summary:
Click on “View 20 records” to see which tickets where migrated:
You will then see the IDs of those tickets in your source and target help desk systems:
All IDs are clickable and will take you to either source or target helpdesk, depending on which ID you click. Go through each ticket and make sure that the following data migrated correctly:
- Tickets (Type, Source, Status, Priority, Custom Fields);
- Statuses of Knowledge base articles.
How to check the result of the Demo Migration when migrating to Jira Service Desk?
To check the result of the demo you need to download the JSON file that contains your tickets, contacts and other information.
Click the Download dumps button:
Then upload the JSON file to Jira Service Desk following this instruction.
Note! Before starting Full Data Migration you need to manually delete the data migrated during the Demo to avoid duplicates.
